The coast and countryside east of Malaga has chain of white villages; Nerja, Torrox & Frigiliana & further inland the villages of Sayalonga, Comares, Canillas de Aceituno, Archez and Competa. As the new motorway has been inaugurated it only takes a little less than an hour to drive from Malaga airport to the eastern part of the Costa del Sol.
